Statement from Alex Corby – Head UKNCCA Cadet Class Coach
It is with a heavy heart that I announce my decision to step down from my role as Head UKNCCA Cadet Class Coach due to ongoing work and family commitments.
This has not been an easy decision, as coaching the cadet class has been a hugely rewarding experience. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the cadets, supporting their development, and helping the next generation grow in confidence, skill, and ability.
I would like to thank all the cadets, fellow coaches, parents, and everyone involved in supporting the class for their commitment, encouragement, and hard work. It has been a privilege to lead the class, and I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together.
Balancing the demands of work, family life, and the responsibilities that come with being Head Coach has become increasingly challenging. After careful consideration, I feel that stepping down from the leadership role is the right decision for me at this stage.
While I am stepping down as Head Coach, this does not necessarily mean a complete departure from the UKNCCA Cadet Class. My future involvement will depend on my work and family commitments and the time I am able to give. I remain supportive of the cadets, the coaching team, and the continued development of the class, and I hope to remain involved in some capacity where circumstances allow.
I wish the cadets, coaches, and the wider UKNCCA every success for the future. I will look back on my time as Head Coach with great pride and appreciation, and I am grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey.
Thank you for your support, trust, and understanding.
Alex Corby
