Sailing Secretary: Sailing Secretary – Join the Team! ⛵
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised Sailing Secretary to lead and shape all sailing activities across the Association. This key role involves planning and delivering an exciting annual programme, including training for all levels, national competitions, and selection events for the Cadet World Championships. You’ll work closely with host clubs to run high-quality, safe and enjoyable events, while building strong relationships across the sailing community.
You’ll also oversee event documentation, support best-practice training with qualified coaches, ensure safety standards are met, and help keep events running smoothly from both an organisational and financial perspective. If you’re passionate about sailing, enjoy working with others, and want to make a real impact on the Cadet class, we’d love to hear from you!
Shoreside coordinator (non-Committee role)- oversight of socials and events at Plas Heli and in the future. If you can spare any time to support our sailors and families to arrange some evening entertainment, we would love to hear from you.
Scorer/Results Officer (non-Committee role): A key member of the race office team who receives and records sailing results each race, inputs them into results software (such as Sailwave), and publishes the rankings. We are looking for someone who is keen to support the class on land at our UKNCCA events. Computer literate and a good knowledge of sailing is ideal.
